Guys Of all the bloody days to pack in my Aircon has stopped kicking out any cold air at all. Before I send it off to th edealers to get fixed, are there any simple things I can check myself, first? Thanks in advance

Brian Thanks again.. I know the Sat Nav worked prior to it being taken out. As i said i have swapped it for the new head unit, (purchased a mobile sat nav). There is power getting to the 12 volt power supply that is in the middle of the dvd unit. Is this normal? I will google audio leads

Brian Thanks for that. I actually had it professionally fitted as I am quite a simpleton when it comes to th etechnical aspect of things. I can tell you that it is a Panasonic CQ-C5303N head unit if that helps? Your time is greatly appreciated.

Guys I have an 03 Galaxy with factory fitted Sat Nav and DVD Multimedia. The original owners took out the CD player and therefore I have just had a new 'non ford' head unit fitted. Unfortunately the DVD will now not work because of the lack of power. Looked at the back and they there seems to be a Ford Connection. Any ideas what I can do? I am due to go on a motoring holiday and have 3 kids to keep entertained. I badly need this dvd working. Many thanks in advance.

Hey guys I have a 2003 1.9tdi (130). Every year I seem to have the same problem at this time of year. i.e cold mornings. Basically the heater underneath the car sounds like a jet engine. The after a couple of minutes I start getting lots of smoke appear. Fords, previously, replaced a diode? and told me that the smoke was spilt oild burning off. It has had to be replaced every year for the past 2 years. Obviously it is now out of Warranty and I dont particularly want to go back to Fords and spend lots of money there. Anybody got any ideas about this, what it is, is it a known fault etc. Thanks

Folks I am thinking of upgrading my Galaxy. Would be interested in to know what kind of price you guys would recommend I sell it for. The spec is as follows: 2003 (03)1.9 TDi Ghia (130) Oyster Silver FFSH 52k Full Leather Sat Nav (factory fit) (No Multichange CD) Multimedia Xenon headlights Heated Seats Ipod Connection DAB Multifunction Steering Wheel All usual Ghia Refinements. Had recent cambelt change. Any help would be veruy much appreciated. This is my 3rd Galaxy and I still feel that I sold the other 2 too cheaply.

Have been told that I cannot install a multiplay cd player in to my 2003 galaxy, because i have factory fitted sat nav installed. Can anyone advise me if this is true? If not how can I get it done, I have spoken to a number of audio shops who seem to confirm this Many thanks
