Lewis skeggs

Hello, new to the group, I own a ford galaxy 53 plate which is not locking by the remote buttons or the key, all doors can be locked/unlocked via the boot but when I try to lock the car via drivers door with the key nothing happens, it doesn't feel like there's any tension in the barrel, also I've tried recoding the key to the car but when I try to turn the key 3 times in the lock to activate the sensor on the door there's no pressure on turning if that makes sense, has anyone else had this problem, Many thanks
