The 1.9tdi 66kw thats going in is 1996 and the original blown one is 1998. And would it work if i just swapped the high pressure pumps and if i did that how would i time it?

Hello, i´ve got a sharan with an engine that needs replacing and i was wondering if i replace the engine with one from a galaxy will there be any need to recode the immobilizer?
