Thanks, that's a great help! :lol: You dont happen to know if fly wheels are likely to expire by 70k mileage - it seems a tad premature to me - I mean a local garage are saying because there's vibration this will be worn and therefore require replacing as it were in the same 'breath' as doing the glutch otherwise it will forever grind etc.

Hi, Er it was registered Jan 2000 and therefore no doubt manu in 1999.

Hiya Does any one know which Galaxys have dual mass fly wheels over ordinary fly wheels? My glutch has gone ('V' reg galaxy 1.9 tdi) and the garage reckon the fly wheel may have gone too (but can't be certain until they look!) but there is
