I have 54 plate galaxy ghia. Suddenly, the foot well, rear footwell and boot lights are coming on whilst driving. The front footwell ones are even flashing on and off. I can hear something clicking near the steering column when they do this. All doors and boot correctly closed. When I switch off and lock the car, they are staying illuminated (Well beyond the normal courtesy period). Am having to disconnect the battery to avoid running it down. Which means can't lock it either. Any suggestions? I have zero technical knowledge but can follow instructions/ guidance! Thanks. Valerie
