hi havent used this site for a while had galaxy ghia x 1.9 tdi 110 psi for 2 years been a good runner . yesterday went out for a drive after about 20 mins of driving engine lost power. living in wales this is a probelm with the terrain .so limped home had a look under bonnet checked maf connecter all seems ok. so decided to try it again and it was fine so loaded up kids and off again to cardiff about 45 miles over the brecon beacons no probelm getting there. on return leg though back through the beacons it did it again so i pulled over and stopped engine for 5 mins restarted it and off again for a couple of miles and it happened again so i limped home for last 15 miles no excess smoke from exhaust but feels like no turbo any ideas

hi just joined forum was having the same prob .i changed the fuel filter and moved the clips on the inlet and outlet pipes to different positions that stoped the air in the fuel, :lol: onthe glow plugs prob im still working on that
