  1. Hello, I got a p reg galaxy, which has got flooded in the rain and the central locking keeps switching on and off as I drive along. Just cleaned out that gulley as suggested on here, what I really want to do is disable it completely, as the key fob dont work anyway is there any way of doing this? also the windows wont close either, help much appreciated Sally
  2. :lol: Hello By reading the forums the most likely answer to this is to clean the idle valve. Please can someone point me in the right direction of where this is and how to do it. I dont fancy paying ford
  3. Hello! Problem resolved. Not only was it the alternator belt it was the tension thingy aswell. Repairs and parts cost
  4. Hello again, long time no visit. I have had my beloved galaxy for 2 years now and the first time ever I have had a mechanical breakdown. I am certain that the alternator belt has gone as there was a squealing and my battery light stayed on. Please could someone please advise me how to replace it? many thanks Sally
  5. Hello Nikpv Many thanks for replying, I actually found your post explaining how to fix this problem. I followed your instructions and after 1 week of wet feet, the problem was fixed in half an hour! I am now one very happy bunny!!! Thank You! Sally p.s car is 2.0 P reg
  6. Hello Many thanks for reading this posting. I have a wet front passenger footwell, water seems to be coming out from under the dashboard. Water is collecting beneath the windscreen on the left hand side where the inlet for the heater systewm is. Please can someone tell me where the drainage holes are as I think they are blocked.
