I have recently had problems with my galaxy, since the cold it stugles to accelerate then after a few minutes drives normal - ish but a little lumpy. The garage tell me the only problem is the EGR valve they have not removed it but say it needs replacing, can the EGR be Block with a plate and would this help with the syptoms the car is having. The car also has a lot of black smoke under hard acceleration.
