hi guys after playing around with my galaxy 2.3 petrol s reg wondering why fans didnt work i came across a thread on here about sensor being placed under thermastat in a three way junction ..... problem i had the stat housing didnt have a slot and couldnt find sensor lol after tracing said sensor and jamming it between battery tray and hose to check if it works ...... voila fans on hahaha who does these things and thinks oh well dont need fans anyway ..... anyway my point hahaha wheres best place for mk1 thermastat with the sensor housing in and how much do they run at .... otherwise it will be ty wrapped to the pipe til further notice .... cheers forums ace ... baconhead :40: :40: :40: :40:

i meant the rear blower/heat unit on glx blows red hot air into very rear seats so im assuming hot water is getting into system thanks

ok thanks am currently trawling through forums as when cars warm sometimes feels like it holds back if gear down it pulls ok and speeds up ... havent serviced it yet so gonna do plugs and leads etc..... and see if thet rectifies problem great forum lots of info cheers

hi just bought 1998 galaxy glx loverly motor but front heaters wont blow warm air rear heater blows red hot front fans all blow at all speed two pipes into matrix are hot when switch pressed in yellow aircon light comes on (but still doesnt warm up) any info read some where a fuse could be problem ? everything else is working (winscreen heat/rear window heat /rear aux heater ) etc...... thanks
