Thanks all. I checked this first and under the passanger seat, is the module for the parking sensors I believe and all looks dry. But this also does not work but thats for another day. I dont think there is a problem with the wiring in the door gaiter because it all works fine using the key in the door or the push button in the car, all handles move in and out.. ( or am I wrong) Its just the remote central locking with the key fob that doesent work. Thanks Pat.

Hi All I have read through the forms but can't seem to find the solution. I have a new to me 2004 ford galaxy ghia. The central locking works fine using the key in the door, all doors open and close, also when the button is pushed inside the car. But the remote central locking on the key does nothing. I have replaced the batterys but still issue remains. I have reprogrammed the key fob, when going through the procedure the key fob blinks 5 times indication the procedure was successful but the led on the cars drivers door does not blink just stays on solid indication it did not syncronise with the key. I removed the car battery for 15 minutes and went through the procedure again but no difference. Can I replace the remote central locking module if there is one? Or what is my next move.
