Thanks for getting back to me. Bleeding the clutch made the pedal feel slightly better but gears still get stiff when hot. I can select the gears ok when the engine is off. I'm planning on removing the gearbox and changing the slave cylinder and will inspect the clutch and dmf.

I need a bit of help. I have a 98 seat alhambra with DJY gearbox (hope its ok to post here) . After a short trip on the motorway all the forward gears are very stiff and reverse in near on impossible to select. Clutch has low biting point. I've replaced the gearbox oil yesterday with no improvements. I'm thinking slave cylinder or the clutch. Any thoughts on this?? While i'm here also the temp gauge never gets above a quarter. I've replaced the coolant temp sensor so my next job will be the thermostat?? Thanks Daz
