Uff. Indeed that didn't sound good at all, and it was definitely due to a mistake we made: bits left over... Which is never good, yet fortunately it was just the left shaft drive retaining clip... (for we took the opportunity to change drive shaft boots too). The new boot was twisted but luckily it wasn't damaged.
