Dear All, Many thanks in advance to all members who may be able to help me. I have a 2009 Galaxy, 1.8 TDCi, 100PS. Mileage: 108000. The engine failed whilst driving at approx 25mph with an almighty thump. The lower belt slipped causing the pistons to smash the valves, broke the camshaft, holes in 2 pistons etc etc. Been looking for a replacement engine but cant find one with a matching code. I have been told that I have a FFBA engine. What do I do? Any advice? Can I change the engine to one of a different code? Can I change to a 125PS engine? Any advice please.
