My sig has not worked again. The car is a tdi mk 2

Hi Can anyone help . I am looking for the part number of the 2 pipes from the EGR cooler. I have tried on line and with ford and vw but cannot get the pipe that goes from the side of the engine to the egr cooler. Just changed the temp sensor and taken the car out for a drive and all looks good. Will test it some more over the next few days and check the fault code when my lead comes next week. Thanks again for your help.

Hi it is the only dial thst dose it. It has never done it before. will get a new sensor and fit it at the weekend. Will get a lead cant belive they are only £5. thanks for the help it's appreciated.

Yes that is exactly what is doss and the warning stop alarm comes on and off.

Thanks that's good to know it's not got anything to do with the temp gauge.

Also the aux water pump dose not run on after ignition is off. It is a 2004 diesel if that helps

Hi guys fantastic forum. Just used it to help change my aux water pump as that was not working. Now when I turn my ignition on the temp gauge goes to max then runs at normal temp. I get no over heating. Anyone got any ideas. Tried the surch and possibly a new temp sensor but still the same with it unplugged.
