  1. Sorted! When I went to check the main battery terminal leads if found the nut, that holds the two brown wires to the negative terminal, was loose. Quick nip up with a spanner and jobs a good 'un. This also sorted the central locking problem we've had since we bought the car, double result! http://i683.photobucket.com/albums/vv194/Scorpion-gb/CL1_zpsksioajfq.jpg
  2. Recently changed the battery which was starting to struggle to start the car due to colder weather (2003 1.9 TDi Ghia). However when I reattached the positive and negative leads to the new battery the car made a noise let the horn going off intermittently. It isn't the horn, as the noise is coming from under the right hand side of the dash, this only occurs when you open any door, the tailgate or the bonnet. The interior lights won't come on with the doors open but they will with the doors shut. All the central locking door relays also click intermittently when any door is opened. This has only started happening since I swapped the battery over (it is the correct battery by the way). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
