Just asked again about info on obtaining the drivers side door wiring loom but has anyone had one of these re-built or re-made.

Here we are Apri 2017 and the same problem. Ford can't provide a new loom so does anyone know if there is a repair kit, including plug and gator

Thanks for your help. Its the drivers door we need to know about. I've spliced wire in several times now but the solder goes hard and breaks. The German repair kit is about £50+ which is a lot of money if it isn't any good after I've used it. I was wondering if anyone had bought a repair kit in this country.

Driving me mad! Have Mark 2 2003 Ghia Galaxy 2.3. Central Locking loom wires regularly break and I have been soldering the loom back together on a monthly basis. I can't find a new or secondhand loom but have located a left hand drive repair loom in Germany, same number of wires. Has anyone every installed this or obtained another loom from anywhere else.
