Window And Electrical Click Sound

Hi all, I am new to this so please bear with me if I have labelled the topic wrong. I have and 05 Galaxy which I love to bits and I want to fully refurbish soon. But firstly I have an intermittent fault with the windows and central locking switch on the drivers door failing to work. Can any one give any pointers? Not much of a car fix person but plan to learn as I refurbish this car. Looking forward to learning more and using the site Kishido
