  1. I've came across other vehicles with similar problems and found the rubber flexi hoses at the calipers had collapsed internally, this causes them to act as a one way valve and stopping the fluid to return quickly enough and then can cause the brakes to bind and give a hard pedal, then when left alone the fluid slowly returns and brakes feel fine again. Would be worth jacking car up and pumping brake pedal a few times and then checking to see how easily the wheel spins by hand before and after to try and identify which wheels are sticking then open the bleed nipple on any affected wheel to see if it frees off
  2. Hi there, hoping someone can help me with my 2000 tdi pd galaxy.(facelift model)My problem is that the switches on my centre console are not working. Blower switch is fine, heat regulator only blows warm ( when engine running) ac button doesn't do anything and I can only get air directed to the windscreen also the small analogue clock at the top of dash stopped working too. Individual switches heated screen and hazards are all fine too. Had an auto spark look at it and he found some broken wires in tailgate rubber grommet ( never fixed it) checked fuses and all ok, suggested new heater control panel and clock which I tried and still no luck. I'm thinking it could be a relay and hopefully someone on here has come across this before and can point me in the right direction to fix this. Many thanks in advance Great site too
