  1. Thanks for your help. Tried earthing but no joy so stripped the motor/mechanism and found the shaft was seized. Managed to get it out and cleaned and greased - had to fill some of the housing with mastic as it cracked. It is now working again but not sure for how long - grease will slowly get washed out and it will seize up again! Will have to watch out for it slowing down again. The hardest bit was re-fastening the pipe back on for the washer as the pipe had snapped. I would have thought it would have blown a fuse but it hadn't!!
  2. My first post here. I've got a 2004 Alhambra and the rear wiper has stopped working - holding the lever in does activate the washer jet. It is currently stuck facing up and not parked. I have tested and found 12v on the black/yellow wire (only). There is continuity on the other 3 wires when tested from the loom inside the car to the plug so don't think the wires are broken. It had been going quite slowly for a while and now nothing. I put 12v on the other wires but all I got was one of them activated the washer and the other one sparked. Should there be power to another wire (I have looked at the diagram earlier in this post but cannot read any of the writing). Also I've just had a new (heated) screen fitted - could this have anything to do with it? Is there only one fuse? Thanks
