  1. Sparky Paul, Thank you. There is not much left of the old one as it decided to go in a completely different direction to the car. All I have left is the bolt, a washer with 4 holes in it and a huge threaded nut that doesn't screw onto anything.
  2. I have a problem with finding the correct pulley for the tensioner on my 1999 2.3 Galaxy. the part that I got has a smaller thread on it than the original. Do you have a ford part number please. The eurocarpart is not the correct one for my car. thank you.
  3. Thanks for the advice. All fixed now. :-)

  8. Hi Folks, My heater works fine apart from when I turn the dial to point the heat to my feet it doesn't. Could someone give me an idea how to fix this please? 1999 Mk1 Galaxy 2.3 petrol with the 3 round knobs on the dashboard.
  9. Could someone please point me in the direction of some help. I have tried a search in the forum to no avail. When I change the direction of airflow on the heater it doesn't point down to my feet instead the hot air comes out of the centre vents. Is there a way to fix this please. Mine is the rotary knob type with the 3 knobs in the centre of the dashboard. thank you.
  10. Solved the central locking & alarm, just one rear door that doesn't close on the central locking now. Headlamp main beam blue warning light is proving to be a pain in the ass(leave that alone for a while). However I am losing the will to live with the heater, mine is 1997 2.3 16v the resistor is green non hedgehog type. Guess what I can find a red one a blue one but no green unless I go for a mk2 green one. Can anyone help out with the reason for different colours & do I definitely have to fit another green one? I can't get the part number at the moment as it is snowing. :39:
  11. Great just perfect thank you
  12. I'm amazed how economical it is really for such a big vehicle.
  13. Speakers are completely fubared. the keyfob is missing its little red bulb so no real point replacing the battery. If you could point me in the right direction for a diagram of what relay does what I would appreciate it. Thanks
  14. Hi Folks, Just bought my first Ford Galaxy MK1 on an R reg. Great car for carrying around our 4 Great Danes now have removed the rear seats.Much better than the Transit we had. Just a few problems, usual heater sometimes works on 1,2 & 3 but always works on 4. Main beam warning light the blue one doesn't illuminate. the clock in the headlining works but the background doesn't light up, impossible to see at night. All 4 door speakers were kicked in by the previous owners kids, so no radio. Pain in the ass removing the door panels t fit new speakers. Key fob is knackered so I can only lock it with the key, no alarm. Rear wiper has a mind of it's own and wags it's tail like an excited spaniel when ever it feels like it. Can't complain, I only paid
