Hi Got a 1.8tdci with a faulty egr valve. Took valve apart and motor was seized so got that freed and working again but the small pin with bearings on either end which the motor turns to open/close valve is snapped where circlips sit- are these shafts available anywhere? TIA.

Hi Looking a bit of help with my 09 1.8tdci galaxy. When revving around 1500rpm the engine starts to vibrate or run ruff, this has been going on a few days but this morning she has started to loose power when acceleratingalso the engine management light has come on. I did take it to local garage yesterday to get plugged in and only codes were abs fault and uo140 lost communication with body control management?? Anybody able to shed any light on what's wrong? Probably should say she did the vibrating thing before Christmas for a few days and then stopped until now but never loss of power or engine management light. Went back out to car this evening and no sign of engine management light on now. Cars got 98k on it. Thanks for looking.

Hi My first post so here goes- I've a 2009 1.8td Galaxy and now and again while driving 'Engine malfunction' displays on the dash and car enters limp mode, stop the engine, wait afew seconds, restart and everything fine. Took to a local mechanic who plugged it in, fault reading 'injector no.2 open/broke', Mechanic says he cant say exactly what this means but next time it happens he will take injector out, get it tested and take it from there. Its happened again tonight and I could take to main dealer but would like to support local mechanic but don't want to be left without car for too long while he traces the problem, can anyone say exactly what this code points to and maybe save some waiting time in the repair?
