Does the kit have the timer and extra battery or does it run off the car battery? Thanks

Hi, I've seen some threads about fitting the timer kit for the aux heater on the galaxy but all the links to kits and things are out of date. Has anyone done this recently as its something I would really like to try thanks for any replies.
