Hi all, I'm looking for a bit of advice. I have an engine management light come and the stored codes were P1116- engine coolent tempreture sensor out of self test range. P1103- mass airflow sensor in range/higher than expected. The car is a mk2 v6 and is showing no symptoms. Any ideas what these codes mean and what is the possible cause? Could they be linked or is it just a coincidence that both faults have happened at the same time? Also if you delete the codes the light doesn't come back on until you start the car again. So basically, you can delete the codes, go on your journey and the light doesn't come back until you restart. Any advice here would be gratefully received. Thanks

I have a 2002 2.8 auto Galaxy. Just lately it has developed a problem where sometimes the speed, Rev counter stop working and the mileage display just turns to dashes. Any idea what is causing this? Is there anyone locally in mid Devon who maybe able to take a look for me please? Obviously I'll pay :) Otherwise any advice on cause and how to fix would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading. Thanks for the reply. One of the coil packs is an original and the other is an after market one, I'll check the plugs are seated properly over the weekend. Thanks again :)

Can anyone please help me with this problem? Galaxy 2.8 v6 2002, changed plugs and coil packs, but 2 of the coil packs keep popping. It seems to be every 4/5 days, is there anything I can do to keep them in? I keep pressing them right down. Thanks in advance :) Lee

Hi All I have a 2002 galaxy 2.8 v6 with a intermittent misfire. The OBD shows its on cylinder 4, so which is cylinder 4? Its had all new spark plugs, so the next trial is the coil pack, so how does the wiring plug come off the coil? One final question (sorry to hassle) What is the actual engine in that car, I have been told its a VW engine. Would just like to know so I can try to find an Haynes manual for it.
