Hi there, I have just bought a galaxy with the t track roof tracks after changing from a mk2, and doing exactly the same with my bike racks like you. I have bought new roof bars, and cannot see a way of putting roof bars and bike racks on at the same time. One bar needs to be put on then slid into the correct position and then the second bar.
I have also found that my bike racks do not fit as the bars have a larger diameter. The bars have a grove in the top which I believe will be comparable with Thule T track (similar names) mounts, screws with a square head, slide into the grove on bar. These screws will arrive latter in the week so I will test it all then.
