Hi Does anyone out there have a Coilover suspension kit for sale 2nd hand, perhaps removed from their motor to return it to standard to sell? I am after a kit in good condition for a mk1 Galaxy and I know it is not easy selling modified cars. Anyone got anything?

Thanks, i am hoping that if they are a similar age then fading will be about the same, though sods law says one will have been kept in a garage and the other outside! Which part on the plate inside the drivers door is the paint code? Is it within the VIN or is it the 3 letters at the bottom of the plate?

Hi does anyone know if Ford and VW used the same paint codes? Or in other words will a silver door from a Sharan match the rest of the paint from a Galaxy assuming they are both the same age.

hi I am thinking about retro fitting rear electric windows (in doors, not pop out vents). I have done a search but can not find anyone who has done this. There is no wiring in the doors for the motors or behind where the switch fits in the front instrument panel. Obtaining motors, switches and door looms is no problem, my question is how much of the rest of the loom will i have to find? Would Ford/VW have put any of it in, therefore just requiring a couple of short sections to connect up, or am I looking at rewiring half of the car!?

Yeah the 3 slots in each of the outside rubber strips. Is it best to remove the strips completely first? Does anyone have the dimensions and the positions of the cutouts in order to do a neat job?

Hi I am new on here, there is a lot of very good information. I have found a lot of stuff about fitting OE roof rails to a mk1 galaxy, but all links to guides for doing the job do not seem to work. I have rails to fit and am really just interested in some advice on the cutting of the original roof trim. Can anyone help?
