  1. I wasn't sure if mine was giving funny signals so just got a second hand one to check first before forking out on a new one but the car behaved the same so I thought can't be that must be turbo so left it.
  2. Thanks for your help guys. Bosch parts catalogue listed two so wasnt sure which, anyway got the ford part number and managed to work it out from there. Thanks again B)
  3. One thing I would say about the innotec cleaner is the cardboard blanking plate is cr*p. I'm sure some else has mentioned this before somewhere as well. Did mine the weekend and the cardboard gets wet then it all just runs out so impossible to fill the turbo with the cleaner spray. I would suggest using it as a template and making one out of Perspex or something.
  4. Hi guys, I'm at a bit of a loss to which I should order. I have a 2001 1.9tdi and have removed the current one but there is no part numbers on it so I'm under the impression that it's been replaced before for a cheap unit. Now the problem I have is that I have found that there is two listed for the car and I'm not sure which one it should be. I have even checked the Bosch website and that also lists two. The two that are listed are.... 0 280 217 121 & 0 281 002 757 Can anyone point me in the right direction of which one I need? Thanks Adam
  5. I can't say I have no. Will make a point tomorrow of looking to be 100% sure tho.
  6. Hi guys, I've got a strange one here. First thing in the mornings I go to pull away and the car will only creep forward for about 10 seconds then decides to go. This happens for about 5 minutes everytime I stop and pull off again even with foot flat on the floor. After the 5 minutes its then fine all day even when been parked up all day at work but will do the same again the following morning! Any help appreciated.
  7. Hi Steve, I know it's been a little while but things have been a bit hectic. I got the lead etc but the scan came up with no faults! How do I go about resetting the transmission adaptations? The other thing I have noticed recently whilst having a bit of a play about is that the box will change fine if the vehicle is going down a decline but as soon as its on level ground again it doesn't like it and chucks it back down a gear and then won't change back up. Could this be something to do with the Throttle Position Sensor?
  8. Unfortunately this turned out to be a problem with the ECU! A 3yr 6 month old car with only 22k on the clock needed a new ECU is not good!
  9. I'm gonna give it another try the weekend and check the battery voltage first to make sure it ain't low as I didn't have a multimeter with me today. I also read about the alarm module. Got the liner out but couldn't manage to remove the plug?
  10. Just tried that and unfortunately no joy.
  11. Ok thanks. Shall give it a go as its lacking power on hills.
  12. Thanks very much. Shall give that a try later today.
  13. Could some one take a look at this graph and tell me if the maf looks like its playing up or not? Took me ages to work out what to do and how to do it and the graphs mean nothing to me now! Thanks Adam
  14. After some help please guys for my parents who have a 59 plate 1.8Tdci. They are getting the above warning messages on the dash and the car wont start after its sat for two weeks on there holiday. They drove it to Somerset fine then it wouldnt start when they was due to return. The ignition comes on but wont turn over. They called out the AA who could not fix it and ended up recovering them home yesterday. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem may be or anything I can try? Thanks Adam
