Total failure to air con 2 years ago after 5 fixes!!! last one caused the compressor to sieze up and something sheared off leaving me with a potential

spoken to trading standards, they say that I should hope for a partial if not full refund due to the Sale of goods act as it was faulty upon purchase!! it has been fixed 4 times in 2 yrs!! get a load of all the problems!!!

also why would the air compressor seize and cause the clutch to shear off... surely this has to be down to lack of lubricant ...how long would this take ?? perhaps they forgot to replace the lubricant after they fixed it ...who knows!!!!

I have had nothing but probs see post under air con have told watchdog by phone and email... no reply needs more of us to report to them I think!! my air con has gone so wrong now gonna cost

I've Just move this from general as it is kinda technical Hi guys am new to all this... here goes.....bought Galaxy in 2002 had air con problems straight away not blowing out cold air, been fixed a few times by the same garage but then moved.. problem re occured was fixed last April while still under warrenty but 3 months later totally packed up air compressor seized and clutch sheared off.. unfortunatley just out of warrenty ford head office will pay 70% towards cost of replacing the system but its gonna cost
