Got my Galaxy just some weeks ago, a - 2012 - 163 hp, power shift, 24000 km. Nice car, and this far I'm very satisfied :-) Now to my issue. Last summer I travelled through Europe towing caravan, with my family in a MB V-class 2002. (W638) Amazing roundtrip. Norway - Croatia -Italy- France-Germany-Norway. In total 6200 km. This summer we are planning for Croatia - Split area. The Caravan is approx 1700 kg (loaded), total length 8 m, 2,5m wide, single axled and this is where you guys might have some good guidance/advice for me. :-) Is there any precautions with regard to driving approx 5000 km, temperatures up to 45 Celsius. The powershift - driving modes? Sport or Drive? Any issues with engine (over)heating. Brakes - downhill. Other issues I should take into consideration? /Roar PS I'm a newbie to Galaxy and this forum.
