Hi i have a 12 plate galaxy 2.0 tdci, 163 bhp powershift. its got 9,000 on the clock and when it starts in the morning from cold it has developed a tapping like noise until the galaxy warms up good. you can hear it when going up the autobox. can anyone advise?. we have an idea what it is but just wondered if any fitters, mechanics out there that have come accross this problem. its just had a service and told them about it thats why they had it over night and they rang and said it was done and the oil and filter has cured the problem. it hasnt i took it from the garage and rang them on the way home not happy because they didnt even take it out they just listened to it running. you can hear it only when you drive it. so 100 mile round trip a service later and it still has the problem. help thanks jo-anne
