just a quick update to myself as noone wants to chip in yet J and R have both outer driveshafts and the stub shaft for the OS unfortunatly they have no intermediate shaft or even a part number for it which is rather sad. there is another non ford company named shaftec who say they normally carry the inner shaft but for the moment are oos (SHAFTEC FOIS02C) is the relavent part apparently ebay is pretty useless to me as the car is automatic likewise all the motor factors i can find and websites i am now officially out of bright ideas and still cannot afford to buy genuine ford part lol

i have just brought a 2002 1.9tdi auto galaxy that needs a set of driveshafts and have been shopping around trying to find a reasonably priced set, could someone please tell me if there is a specific intermediate shaft with stub or if it is the same as manual version? if there is a specific version does anyone have part numbers or links please?
