  1. Both are Lx versions, but the spare car has rear pdc and fog lights whereas mine doesnt. Bit wierd considering they are both the same.
  2. Hi all, just going to see if theres any interest in this. I have two ford galaxies for sale. One is my normal car i use every day and the other is a spare car i bought to use for spare parts. Both are 2.3 petrol autos mine is 2004 and the spare is 2001. Both are dark blue. The 2004 is fully taxed and mot,d. Runs great and has 4 fairly new tyres on. Recently serviced in my work. (I work for land rover) and has a new caliper carrier on the osr. Full 7 seats in and interior is in great condition. Items that dont work are the air con which i think is an actual compressor, and the rear washer is inop. Its a split pipe in the engine bay. 120 k miles on, and as i say runs great. The spare car runs and drives. But has some elec issues. I bought it like this but wanted it mainly for mechanical parts. The only part ive swapped is a partially seized rear brake caliper. Cup holders and a console surround. Dark grey interior is a bit tattty , but mechanically it runs better than mine. I got the galaxy as i needed more room than my old focus, and now im about to get a company car which i can choose, so the both need to go im afraid. Im looking for a
  3. Hey, not far mate. In in merseyside, and work in cheshire. My donor car is stored at work.
  4. Ha ha. Donor has air con. If you want to come and remove them yourself we can work out a deal !
  5. Hi all. Cars just been for mot 2004 2.3 auto lx and has failed on the rear caliper seized. I have a donor 2001 2.3 auto and just wondered if the caliper will be the same ? Thanks
  6. Hi Fraz. We are completely in the same boat. Looks like its glove box out and trace the pipe up as far as you can go. I asked originally if anyone knows the route the pipe takes from cabin to engine.
  7. Thanks for the tips. I shall endeavour to fix this pain in the backside. Cheers
  8. Hi Gregors thanks for the welcome and the link. Reading through the link you posted talks mainly about leaks coming into the car from various points. My problem is my rear washer pipe is split somewhere in the engine bay in a seemingly inaccessible position, and i was looking for any help in trying to trace the route it takes from the interior through to the bottle. It does not leak into the cabin. What extent of the car may possibly be needed to be removed to get to the pipe ? Is it dash out ? Wing off ?? Thanks again.
  9. Hi all, first post here. My galaxy suffers from the rear waher inop but it is not split in the n/s sill. It is burst or split in the engine bay. I think the split is behind the bulkhead somewhere but getting to it is a real pain. Does anyone have a layout or knows the route the pipe takes from the sill joint ?? Many thanks in advance
