  1. After having another look its the front heated windscreen which has the 20a fuse. Looks like its a short or bad earth!
  2. Hello, I was just wondering if someone could clarify the rating of the fuse that should be used for the heated front and rear windows. We have recently purchased the galaxy and everything works apart from these and upon checking the fuse box I noticed that there was a 20a fuse blown and upon replacing this and pressing the button for the heated windscreen the fuse blew immediately. I repeated this with another fuse to make sure it wasn't a faulty fuse. When I checked the Haynes manual wiring diagrams I noticed that the only fuse the heated window relay is linked to is 50a. I want to put a 50a in its place as after seeing that it seems that a previous owner put the wrong rating of fuse into the slot, however I thought it best to get some advice before doing so. Thanks.
  3. I'm glad I found this topic. Having the same issues, only a previous owner has used a 20a fuse...I thought it was a bit odd when I saw the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual which stated 50! Thank you! I can now change the fuse to the correct one with the knowledge that I did in fact read the diagram correctly.
