I went to a dealer today and he told me that the menu screen was the normal display, it always shows apparently.

I've just got a 2012 Galaxy and I can't seem to get off the menu on the dashboard computer. Looking at the manual I should be able to hold down the left arrow and it will return to the trip computer but it doesn't do this. Any help? Thanks.
