Hopefully i am putting this in the right place!! I need some help with a few problems! i have a 2002/02 plate V6 ghia 5 speed auto, it has 159000 miles with a almost complete service record recently had a major service, the engine is silky smooth and still has 95% of its power!! (First issue) 1st gear smooth 2nd gear jerky 3rd gear thuds 4 gear thuds 5th gear smooth its been like this for over 2yrs and on last mot 6mths ago we had gearbox mount bush replaced any ideas why this would be happening? (Second issue) climate control unit flashes for 10-15 seconds and is not blowing out cold air all buttons work and blows hot air (Third issue) my header tank needs to be topped up every week it loses all water from bottle and takes approx 1.5litres to replenish there is no visable problem and my mechanic cannot find any problem!! but the car does mist up regular too. thanks for reading and i hope someone can help :D

Hi all, I have just become a member and wanted to say hi, i am a ford lover and have been for most of my 22yrs of driving, my wife and i own a 2002, 2.8, V6 galaxy auto which we have had for 3yrs and its been a diamond of a motor!! its taken us round europe without missing a beat! we travelled over 2000 miles with 6 of us and a roof box, and on the roads over there we managed to get 30.6mpg which i thought was great, stuck the cruise control on at 75mph and enjoyed the journey!! we have had a few problems but thats expected from an 11yr old car with 158964miles on the clock!! we service it every 10k and it goes through the dreaded MOT with very little that needs doing!! i will need help with a few issues that i have so would be greatful if you guys could help me out with some advice!! as i am new to this could someone please tell me where to post my problems i have with the galaxy? thanks guys and i look forward to talking to all that can help :D
