Hi i recently had the exact same problem( 3 weeks ago).It turned out to be the high pressure pump i fitted a brand new one(off ebay £295) and it cured the problem.Another problem that causes your problem is the leak off on the injectors,it causes the pressure to drop and the car wont start.My mates garage put it on a tester,so we were able to rule that out.If you have got somebody who knows what they are doing with the dianostic machine they could narrow it down to one or 2 things.Most of the garages will give you codes but not find the problem. Hi can anybody help,i have a galaxy auto 08 tdci.When you select drive it goes fine,until you go to stop the car,Its stays in continuos drive.Normally you can stop on tickover waiting to pull away again.You have to put this car it out of drive,otherwise the car will keep going or stalls as you are braking to stop it moving forward. The revs on the engine is fine.I drove the car recently for 130 miles and drove like a new one,everything is fine until you go to stop the vehicle. ANY IDEAS

Found the problem.It was the diesel pump(low pressure).Fitted a brand new one off ebay £295.Cured the problem. Europart price £495,Fords nearly £1000 Dont bother with 2nd hand pumps.

Hi i have a problem with my galaxy mk 3 autobox 08 tdci.When you come to stop, it is still in continous drive, like if you need to press the clutch in.Which you cant do as its a auto,You have to knock it out of drive to stop it,as braking causes the car to judder and stall as the car is still in drive.I had to drive the car home for some 130 miles ,it drove perfect until i was coming to a stop i can then select drive and away it goes again, Any ideas?????? PETER
