Hi I have just replaced the number 53 relay as I thought the old one was gone but still no luck fuel pump only works if I take relay apart and push the copper part and it makes contact what can it be that stops this from working can anyone advise me please its a 2005 diesel 1.9 turbo

Can anyone help my galaxy wouldn't start so checked fuel and noticed diesel in the tank was black so drained fuel and filter changed but car only runs if I fill filter up and when that's gone it won't start again so checked pump and it won't work so put live and earth to pump and it pumps perfect so been told could be cut out switch or relay but can't locate either it's a 2005 model tdci ghia PLEASE HELP

The key come apart and the chip fell on floor so i put it back in but also tried other spare key no wires been touched it does start eventually but runs lumpy and I have to use jump leads as it the battery goes flat cause it turns over and over

may just sell as is and count my loses

tried it but still nothing the mechanic was useless not helpful what so everi just cant see how immobiliser is stuck on as the keys unlock by the remote just wont start so frustrating

i bought this car and the ecu needed replacing got an ecu and it started perfect no probs left it over night some axxhole broke into it and nicked all my tools & ocking wheel nut went to start it and it turns over and over over but noyhing took to a mechanic and he said its the immobiliser stopping it from pumping diesel thru so now im stuck he gave me the car back and said he does not know what to do can anyone help please its a 2005 1.9 tdi ghia

The abs light is on with fuse in or out was told it might be a sensor or abs modul and abs ecu a guy is doing the wheel bearing in the morning so will get him to check that for me it's just really puzzling me

There is two thick wires going to the fuse box in under bonnet that have no plastic casing It dont look like its melted just looks like something has chewed it but was just going to chop it and replace it tomorrow

I bought it as non runner with ecu gone the car has not been flood damaged all I know is some mechanic said there's an abs pump behind the battery and its that that's buzzing all the time until I remove the fuse (30amp) in the fuse box next to the battery it still buzzing if there's no ignition on and I have sorted the hooter and indicators that was the dimmer switch for the dash lights as soon as I unplugged it replaced the fuse it was fine but still can't get the blowers to work
