Thanks for that reply it increases speed and rpm just feels as if the car is looking for another gear that it does not have!

Hi Acecard No I dont think it is. Is there any way of checking I know you can do it with a manual is it the same for an auto???

Hi Guys & Gals This is my first post on the forum but I have had a lot of advice when reading others posts We have a P reg (1996) Volkswagen Sharan Petrol auto box , we have had the car plug in today and the gearbox is fine so we are told with all gears work as they should :) Our concern is the fact we are doing around 3500 rpm at 60 mile an hour & 4000 rpm at 70 miles an hr and she seems to drink juice :angry: CAn someone please shed any light on this or is this common it feels as if she needs another gear
