  1. It was the RH side wheel bearing, changed for
  2. Thanks, my local dealer diagnosed a faulty wheel bearing and they're changing it today so I hope that will solve it.
  3. I have stumbled across this site and hope that someone might be able to help. I have a 2001 2.3l Galaxy which has 70k miles on the clock. In the last couple of months I have started to notice a front end 'groaning'noise which is noticeable from 30 MPH+. If I put the car into neutral and let the engine idle the noise is exactly the same. Also it gets alot worse on left hand bends and can virtually disappear on right handers. My local Ford dealer replaced an intermediate bearing on the offside drive shaft which made no difference at all!! Any ideas?
