  1. Sussed it! It was the instrument cluster that was faulty. Replaced it with a 2nd hand one off fleabay, job done!
  2. Yep. Have also tried unplugging the handbrake switch.
  3. I have an ongoing nightmare with the "handbrake on" warning message and bong, bong, bong with my Galaxy. It is a 2000 on an X, 115 TDI. I have checked all of the obvious things; Handbrake switch, brake fluid level, brake pad wear indicators and no joy. I have metered out the various wires back to the dashboard but am out of ideas. Can anyone suggest what might be causing the problem? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the dash cluster / instruments so I can isolate the cable to the instruments?
