Hello all I am hoping somebody here can give us an advice. Our Ford galaxy registered 2008 march. 3 weeks ago the screen on the dvd navigation system started to turn itself off seconds after turning it on. So we had no heating, radio or satnav function in the car as all the control is on the screen. We took it to the ford dealer where we bought the car from and they tell us now nobody wants to touch it to get it fixed.They say it will cost us £3000 to get the whole system replaced. We are fuming as it only cost us £1500 to get it when we bought the car in the first place. I have 4 kids one with autism and have to take my autistic son to school walking with him in wheelchair every morning. Its been a nightmare for us all. I need that car and surely ford should repair or replace it with no cost or little cost to us as we did nothing tlo break it and only did 20000 miles with the car until now. So its quite new. Any advice please. I am in bits and you will know what I mean if any of you have a child with severe autism and relay on your car to get around.
