Hi all I have been having poor idling at low revs on my 1998 1.9 tdi Sharan. So i bought an ebay cable downloaded VCDS lite and adjusted IQ value down to 31000 and it runs much better, the only problem is that if i turn the engine off the IQ value goes back to default 32768. Is there a way to save the the IQ value at 31000 in VCDS lite or is that option only available on the full version of VCDS. Many thanks

Have had the error codes read now and shows 01268 fuel quantity adjuster. I have done a bit of research and understand this can be checked and corrected using a VAG COM cable and VDCS lite. Is this correct and can anyone recommend where i can buy a cheap but decent VAG COM. Many thanks

Hi all I own a mark 1 Sharan Tdi on a R plate which is running rough, my mechanic said the pump is not pulling enough fuel, he filled up the diesel filter and it ran fine, but gradually became rough as the fuel drained from the filter. i just want to ask if these cars have a low pressure pump and a high pressure pump. And if anyone else has had a similar problem. And could this problem be caused by clogged fuel lines. many thanks
