It's petrol, and I'm not sure what the garage did. Thanks for the tip about the idle control valve - maybe that's it. Cheers Phillip

Hi, My wife's 1996 Galaxy has taken to stalling as she changes down at roundabouts/junctions. It will always restart immediately, but this is obviously not desirable behaviour. It never cuts out at high engine revs, or in anything other than second gear while slowing down. It's also not consistent - it can go quite a while before it does so, but can then happen ten times in ten miles. She's had it in the garage but they couldn't find a problem. Any ideas will be gratefully received. Thanks
