    One possible place to try giving a call . http://www.bktransmissionsltd.co.uk/bktransmissions-pages/home My Alhambra has exactly the same 5th gear whine when lifting off. Has done it for at least the last 10,000 miles since we got the car. I tend to drive around it using 4th / 6th for the most part. Neil
