I am a new Galaxy owner and have been trying to find out about the poor blower performance. My local Ford specialist said they are just poor, but not having had one before I was not sure. I noticed that on recirculate they were a little stronger, so I removed the pollen filter which has helped a little. I guess they are just poor design, plenty on noise just not much power.

My turbo cut out on me yesterday coming home from France. After reading a little on here I am hoping it is not a failing turbo and have just bought a can of 10K Boost Power Restorer from Halfords. The instructions seem quite simple, but I just wanted to make sure I am doing the right thing before I start. My Gal is a 2002 1.9 Zetec diesel. On the instructions printed on the can it says to apply directly into the turbo inlet. It also says that for cars with an air mass meter to apply beyond the air mass meter. Does anyone know if this means to spray in the main air intake after the air filter? Or is there another intake just for the turbo? Also, is the air mass meter the electrical bit in the pipe held in with two screws just after the filter box (circled in the attached photo)? I was thinking I should remove it and spray the cleaner into the hole where the air mass meter sits? Any advice would be really great....

Sorry if there has been other posts about problems like this, but the search tool is timing out for me. My Galaxy (52 plate on 125000 miles) drivers seat base foam seems to have deteriorated. I think the previous owner might have been a little over weight and I gues turning to get out has put a lot of pressure on the edge of the seat. I cam feel a thin metal rod that runs from front to back that is starting to dig in when I drive the car. Is there an easy way to get the bottom seat cover off so I can eihter replace the foam or patch it up with rags and duck tape?

I have only had my Galaxy for a week and a half. One thing I have noticed is that the fan speed isn't very good compared to my other cars. I had it checked by a Ford specialist and he said they are all a bit rubbish. Can anyone confirm this? Even on speed 4 there is plenty of noise but not enough speed to even make my hair move!

The steering wheel in my Galaxy being a non leather version is looking very tired. I have seen a leather version from a MKIII mondeo for sale. Can anyone tell me it they are the same fitment? They look the same style; 4 silver spokes. I am gradually updating my interior. I have just bought and fitted replacement covers for the front arm rests. Was actually a really easy job.
