  1. Thanks for all the replies I replaced the F19 fuse as galaxykid stated but still no joy. I was stuck so decided to go and buy one of the larger bulbs to test wether all the bulbs were gone. I didn't want to buy all the bulbs in the clusterunless I had too. Bingo!...The one I replced worked, which means I'm off to Hendy Fords tomorrow to buy all the rest. Can't beleive the people that owned the car before drove it with no dash lights as they had it for three years. Oh well it's fixed now (or will be tomorrow) Cheers
  2. Hi On our new 98 Galaxy all the dash dial lights are not working. Thing is I'm not sure which fuse relates to the dashboard dials even though I've checked all of them to see if any had blown. Does anyone know the fuse number that relates to the dash so I can try replacing that particular one? And could it be anything apart from all the bulbs blown or fuse? I've taken the dial unit out to have a look at the bulbs and from a visual inspection they look okay. Thanks for any help
  3. Thanks for all your help, I'll let you know how I get on. B)
  4. Hi memorandum Thanks for your quick reply Sorry if this is a silly question. When you say clocks do you mean the speed dial and rev dials? If you do thats funny as both dials are not lighting up. I would have never thought that could stop the handbrake lights working. Thanks for the info. Where abouts is the handbrake switch by the way?
  5. Hi I'm quite new to this forum, well I've been using it to fix bits on my Galaxy for some time but have always found what I'm looking for in a search. I have had a bit of a nightmare with my brake lights on our new '98 galaxy. First of all the brake lights were working when they felt like it. After searching for clues on this forum I changed the brake switch which cured that problem. Then the high level brake light still did not work, again I searched and found it could be a broken wire where the loom joins the hatch. After checking...bingo! that was that problem fixed too. Now all the rear lights are working except the hand brake lights. Can anyone shed some 'light' on this? Normal brake lights work when pressed Thanks for any help.
