hi, I one of my electric windows has stopped working, does not work thru either drivers main control or it's own switch. is there any way of testing the switches themselves?? if it is the main drivers unit would that stop the other one working?? i have an 2002 tdi ghia regards grant

Hi all, I have a 02 galaxy 1.9 tdi & having a friend do a full service. I have purchased most parts i need from a local spares place. I 'm a little confused about the cam belt kit, was told there is two kits for my age car. One is £60 dearer than the other, apparently the more expensive one has the same bits as the other one but also contains a vibration damper?? Was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on this? I know i have a PD engine from previous work done on her. Also since reading various bits about the cam belt, is it best to change water pump also?? Many thanks in advance
