After scanning with VAG it shows the following errors: 1166 - Engine Torque Signal (signal outside tolerance) 0281 - Vehicle Speed Sensor - G68 - (no signal) 0296 - Kick-down Switch (implausible signal) and according the information above I guess, if it doesn't work out with checking the wires, the gearbox needs to be inspected internally?!

I had mine checked and changed at JEM Service. I'm not sure there are many garages we can trust. Hopefully they did it properly. There is a difference in the performance of the gearbox but the problem still exist unfortunately.

Hi There, I have the same problems and I think it's the Vehicle Speed Sensor. I bought the Vgate Scanner VS405 and after scanning the brain it said it's the sensor. Now I'm trying to figure out from where I can order one and replace mine. Some coleagues are saying could be wiring problem around the sensor aswell. A few days ago I changed the gearbox fluid but there is not much difference in the performance. I will keep you updated if i menage to solve the problem. Regards

Hi, I have the same problem. I can lock the door only with the key but not with the alarm. Did you find what's wrong with yours? Thanks
