Thank you all for your advise im going to get a diagnostic on it and check the hose from the turbo and i will get back to ye all with more info. Again i appreciate it and thank you again.

I have a 2001 1.9 tdi zetec (140,000 miles) regular service yet the car has no power one minute (55 - 60 mph is a struggle and 6th gear is not an option power and speed drop like a stone) yet next drive loads of power and could hit 110 if i wanted. A mechanic said the turbo is going yet quoted 1200 to replace it ( i love this car and don't want to scrap it please help) any suggestions will be gratefully appreciated.
