do you know if that would fit straight on without removing anything?

the a/c on my mk2 2.3 zetec siezed up today, can it be bypassed by fitting a shorter belt or would the compressor (and maybe an idler looking at the routing) need to be removed too? ....or maybe replace the pulley/clutch only on the compressor? It got noisy with the a/c turned off (clutch was disengaged) with a strong burning clutch smell and eventually siezed up, stalling the engine. (yes I know, I should have fixed it sooner!)
