I have just booked my galaxy 140 TDCi powershift into the dealers to be checked out. I find it quite hesitant un selecting gear at lower speeds with it surging now and again as a too low a gear has been selected. I also find I get a bit of engine vibration too when pulling away or coasting at lower speeds.

Yes it will just grip to the rail, it does mention in the manual the rough placement for them, but at present i'm at work, if you can't find it let me know and i will look it up later. Thanks I do have the instructions but was just questioning their security

I've bought the ford ones. The latest Galaxy's don't have the flush T track. Like mine they have raised rails

Just bought a set of roofbars for my MK3.5. Looked at the instructions but do they simply grip the cars rails? Or do they lock into something. Just a bit concerned with the roof box loaded its not going to fly off
